ditto inspired sweet and savory ube halaya cinnamon rolls with parmesan cheese recipe
thoughts that keep me up at night: what does each Pokemon taste like?
Dear fam,
I had extra ube milk bread dough in the fridge, and it reminded me of one of my favorite Pokemon, a derpy blob called Ditto. Ditto is so easy to draw and craft into desserts; it has two beady black eyes and a line for a smile. Being simple, it’s easy to recognize and, honestly, quite adorable.
And yet, I want to punch it in the face. Something about those beady eyes and that smile. It's so unnatural.
So it was quite befitting that I transformed the puffy milk bread dough cold-proofing in my fridge into a Ditto! And I had to unleash all my rage on its smiley face with one punch to degas the dough.
It felt… good.
I craved cinnamon buns, so I turned the ditto dough into milk bread rolls flavored with ube halaya, brown sugar, parmesan cheese, and butter. My milk bread is always soft and fluffy without the knead to use tangzhong or yudane!
